*Record 5-4*
I’m excited to watch today’s Game 7 between the Raptors and Heat. All of the games have been decided by eight points or less, signifying how even this series has been. But who will be joining LeBron James’ in the Conference finals? Will it be his old friend and ex-team? Or will it be the new kids on the block, who are backed by an entire nation.
Miami Heat @ Toronto Raptors
Toronto’s duo of Lowry and DeRozan seems to be back to their regular season ways, as they combined for 59 points in both Game 5 and 6; however, it was Dwayne Wade’s supporting cast that stole the show on Friday. The Heat had five players score in the double digits, as Dragic led the way with 30. Going with a smaller lineup proved successful for Erik Spoelstra. Its going to be a battle tonight, but I’m going to take the team who has been there before, the Miami Heat. They have won their last four Game 7s and are now 7-1 in their last 8 games when facing elimination. Spo knows how to handle these types of games, while I’m unsure if I can say the same about an inexperienced Raptor’s side. Slated as the 4.5 point underdog, taking the Heat with the spread tonight is a safe choice. They are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 games, while the Raptors are 2-8 ATS in their last 10 games.
