NBA Playoff Predictions- May 13th

*Record 4-4*

Another day, another NBA playoff game to predict and tonight we have a good one. The Miami Heat will try to defend their home court and championship aspirations as they face a Toronto Raptors team that leads the series 3-2. After falling back down to Earth in Game 5, can Dwyane Wade will this Heat team to live another day? We shall soon find out.

Toronto Raptors @ Miami Heat

I can’t tell if its good or bad that the Raptors have been able to take a 3-2 series lead without consistent production from both DeRozan and Lowry. However, last game the team did get production out of big man Bismack Biyombo, who tormented the Heat on the glass and in the paint. Being without Hassan Whiteside has been a detriment to Erik Spoelstra’s group, but I’m maintaining my faith with the Heat. Dwayne Wade has showed us that he loves to put on a show on his home court, averaging 34 points and 6 assists at the American Airlines Area this series. The Heat have won their last 5 elimination games at home and coach Erik Spoelstra is 7-1 when facing elimination games at home, tied for second best all time. This team is no stranger to this scenario, as they overcame a 3-2 deficit last round against the Charlotte Hornets. Miami is 10-2 SU in their last 12 games at home, which is why I’m taking them on the money line tonight.

Prediction: Miami Heat (-170)
